All Sports Analysis Program
imports standard, "interlaced" AVI video files.
Any
camcorder/camera which produces 30 frame-per-second
"interlaced" AVI video can be imported. A_S_A_P
doubles the frame rate to 60 FPS. (25 to 50 FPS, PAL/SECAM)
Flash Memory, Hard Drive or any camcorder recording
video in a format other than AVI can be used by
converting/saving it (in Windows Movie Maker or another
application) as an AVI file.
To utilize the
Video Capture Tool's Recording and Direct Capture
functions require a mini DV or digital 8 camcorder
and camera/computer FireWire connection. Hi 8,
S-VHS and other analog-type camcorders can also be used
if the computer has an analog video capture device.
These camcorders allow you to take full advantage of all program features, including the ability to do a "live" (or recorded) capture directly into All Sports Analysis Program. They
also have a Sports (or manual)
shutter mode, which records blur-free video,
this is especially important for doing an analysis.
